Chicago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level associate attorney with 4-5 years of proven legal experience handling sophisticated leveraged financing transactions. The candidate will represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies and/or financial institutions that provide financing to private equity firms in debt financing transactions. Assist and provide legal guidance to clients in structuring and executing leverage finance transactions. Draft and review various finance documents, including credit and service agreements, high-yield bond indentures, commitment letters and term sheets, security and guarantee agreements, and inter-creditor and subordination agreements. Support clients during and after transactions by providing legal advice to ensure compliance and risk mitigation and stay current on industry trends and legal developments. Must have experience at a large law firm representing private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and/or lenders with leverage finance transactions. Experience working in a global team environment would be preferred. Should have a strong academic record and a . degree from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois Bar.
