Tax Manager - Financial Services/Asset Management:

- Full-time position with a leading global professional services firm
- Job Requisition ID: JR102415
- Competitive salary range: $84,200 - $183,500
- Focus on serving clients in the asset management industry, including private equity funds, hedge funds, and FoF clients
- Emphasis on tax compliance and consulting for complex and well-known funds
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing partnership tax returns for clients
- Serve as a mentor and coach for team members, providing performance feedback and development opportunities
- Communicate complex tax issues in a non-technical manner to clients
- Act as a client service coordinator for specific clients
- Provide tax planning, research, and compliance services for clients
- Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in business taxation with a Big 4 or large accounting firm, or equivalent experience in industry or with a law firm
- Must have active CPA, JD/LLM, or EA certification
- Prior experience working with asset management clients
- Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Ability to manage client engagements from start to finish
- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or MBA preferred
