A law firm in Albany is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its commercial litigation and construction practice. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional research, writing, and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a collaborative team spirit, and be admitted to the New York State Bar. Experience in construction matters is a plus.

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation and construction matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategies.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team spirit.
• Experience in construction matters (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
