Responsibilities:

- Prosecute homicide cases in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida
- Work with victim advocates, homicide survivors, expert witnesses, and law enforcement partners
- Conduct trials and evidentiary hearings
- Assist law enforcement at any hour from time to time
- Use data-driven methods to hold offenders accountable and provide restorative justice for victims
- Redirect children and people in need of services to build stronger, safer communities
- Promote public safety and uphold the highest standards of ethics and competence
- Follow the American Bar Association's standards for the function of a prosecutor

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor Degree required
- Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
- Knowledge of criminal law and procedure
- Exceptional interviewing skills
- Proficient decision-making ability
- Experience with expert witness subject matter
- Flexibility to work independently and as a team member
- Legally able to work in the US without additional immigration authorization or employer sponsorship

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, trial and evidentiary hearing experience, and interpersonal skills to work with various individuals and organizations. They must also possess a Juris Doctor Degree and be a member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
