Job Description

As a Corporate Counsel, you will join our established and collegial in-house legal department and work closely with the Associate General Counsel. We are looking for someone with 4-8 years of experience in corporate, real estate, governance, and general commercial law, preferably in the pet and vet care industry. You will be responsible for managing relationships with outside counsel, handling contracts, customer disputes, and potential litigation or claims involving Destination Pet. Strong collaboration skills, a passion for pets, and a commitment to working in a true team-oriented environment are essential for this role.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be barred and in good standing in at least one . jurisdiction. If located in Colorado, you must be eligible to practice law in the state. Other requirements include:

4-8 years of experience in corporate, real estate, governance, and general commercial law
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication, research, and organizational skills
A growth mindset and willingness to learn and mentor others
Ability to build cross-functional relationships
A passion for pets
