Job Title: Tax Senior - National Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Location: Multiple locations (57 available)
Salary Range: $77,070 - $175,500

Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced tax specialist frustrated with traditional role in tax compliance
- Passion for client consultation and improving technology
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on important matters
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, and more
- Deliver value to clients experiencing public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, and more
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and Up-C and SPAC structures
- Develop understanding of public monetization transactional process and tax receivable agreements
- Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients
- Identify and solve complexities with federal income tax impact of public offerings
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance Deloitte initiatives

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS offers various tax service offerings for largest organizations across all industries
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) is a part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS
- OPS professionals counsel both privately-held and publicly-traded partnerships across the US on federal tax and issues
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, and more

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-person work 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong numerical problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment
- Strong research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work
- Must have one of the following accreditations or be willing and able to obtain: CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience

Salary Range:

- $77,070 - $175,500
