Job Overview: A law firm in Needham, MA, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials. The ideal candidate will have 13 years of practical litigation experience, including insurance defense and/or jury trial experience. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Assist with the management of a high-volume caseload.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State Bar.
• 13 years of practical litigation experience.
• Prior experience in insurance defense and/or jury trial experience is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State Bar.
