A law firm in Maitland, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, meticulous organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The position requires someone who can handle significant responsibilities, possesses excellent writing and analytical skills, and is familiar with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. Candidates with civil litigation experience or expertise in other practice areas will also be considered.

Duties:

• Represent clients in medical malpractice cases, from initial client consultation to trial and appeal if necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings.
• Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other staff to ensure case progression.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Stay updated on changes in medical malpractice laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proven experience as a Medical Malpractice Attorney.
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle a high level of responsibility.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to handle cases in other practice areas if necessary.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
