Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to represent private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated leveraged financing transactions. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance in structuring and executing leverage finance transactions, draft and review financing documents and ensure compliance with industry trends and legal developments.

Job Details:

  • Represent private equity sponsors and financial institutions in debt financing transactions.
  • Assist and provide legal guidance to clients in structuring and executing leverage finance transactions.
  • Draft and review various financing documents, including credit and service agreements, high-yield bond indentures, commitment letters, term sheets, security and guarantee agreements, and inter-creditor and subordination agreements.
  • Support clients during and after transactions by providing legal advice for compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Stay current on industry trends and legal developments relevant to leveraged financing.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of proven legal experience handling sophisticated leveraged financing transactions.
  • Equivalent experience at a large law firm representing private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, and/or lenders with leverage finance transactions.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to support a highly diverse client base.
  • Strong academic record and a . degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to and membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a global team environment.
