A law firm is seeking a Litigation Family Law Attorney for their location in The Woodlands. The Litigation Family Law Attorney will proactively manage family law cases, provide superior customer service to clients, and make improvement recommendations to practice managers. The role requires 1st chair family law experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

Duties:

• Proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end
• Provide superior customer service to clients, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews
• Make improvement recommendations to practice managers
• Manage performance metrics to track accomplishments and client satisfaction through practice-quality software
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Stay updated on family law developments and changes in relevant statutes and case law

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited university
• Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt
• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• 1st chair family law experience
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
• Ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
