Position Summary:

- Seeking intellectually curious, strategic, and highly motivated attorney to join the growing Privacy, Litigation, and Regulatory (PLR) team within AppLovin Legal
- Reports to Senior Managing Litigation & Regulatory Counsel
- Provides support across AppLovin's suite of products, including AdTech, AI, e-commerce, and gaming
- Opportunity to work on large, high-impact projects

Responsibilities:

Litigation:

- Manage day-to-day litigation issues and develop strategies to avoid disputes and resolve pre-litigation matters, regulatory inquiries, and disputes
- Analyze regulatory developments and help translate them into practical and operational guidance and proposed changes
- Apply litigation and regulatory insights to help business teams avoid blind spots and landmines with existing products and in the consideration and development of new products
- Partner with cross-functional teams for internal investigations and responses to subpoenas and requests from government and law enforcement agencies
- Monitor litigation trends and developments to provide proactive guidance for risk mitigation

Regulatory & Product Counseling:

- Review regulatory requests and inquiries and assist with preparing responses
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and evolving industry standards and provide guidance for product initiatives and new features
- Provide holistic legal advice across various subject areas, including consumer protection, intermediary liability, intellectual property, and marketing laws

Qualifications:

- JD from an ABA accredited law school and admission to and active status in at least one state bar
- 3 to 5 years of experience providing litigation and regulatory support to technology companies
- Federal judicial clerkship preferred

Additional Strengths:

- Experience working with technology companies, particularly in AdTech, AI, or e-commerce
- Experience with class actions and arbitrations
- Interest in data privacy
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive total compensation package with pay for performance rewards approach
- Package based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
- May include equity and other forms of incentive compensation, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits
- US base pay range: $152,000-$247,000 USD
