The candidate will manage a caseload of Medical Malpractice cases in their pre-suit phase to ensure efficient case workup. Will oversee the comprehensive development and preparation of pre-suit cases. Collaborate with Client Experience Managers, investigators, and support staff to gather necessary documentation and evidence. Ensure the timely and accurate organization of case files, including medical records, expert reports, and legal correspondence. Develop a preliminary theory of negligence and decide which cases will move to litigation. Monitor case progress and work closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines and milestones are met. Experience at an injury law firm, particularly Medical Malpractice preferred. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to the specific legal practice area is essential. Familiarity with case management software and other legal tools needed. Should have admission to the Bar and an active license to practice law in the jurisdiction.
