A law firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Commercial Litigation/Insurance Coverage Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, as well as confidence in appearing before court and clients. Bar admission in NY is helpful.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitrations
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance coverage issues
• Evaluate insurance policies and coverage disputes
• Develop case strategies and provide litigation support to senior attorneys
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and depositions

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar in NY (additional Bar admissions helpful)

Education:

Certifications:
