The Litigation Attorney will handle cases from inception through trial, including drafting discovery pleadings and motions and taking and defending depositions. Strong academic achievement, exceptional writing skills, and courtroom advocacy proficiency are essential. The candidate must be licensed to practice in New York State.

Duties:

• Handle cases from inception through trial.
• Draft discovery pleadings and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare legal documents, briefs, and memoranda.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong record of academic achievement.
• Proven writing skills.
• Talent for advocacy in the courtroom.
• Must be licensed to practice in New York State.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.
