The role involves leveraging a strong scientific background to develop patent strategies and interface with attorneys and staff. Ideal candidates will have 0-3 years of patent experience, with post-doctoral or related experience preferred.

Duties:

• Assist with patent research, application preparation, and submission.
• Interface with attorneys, staff, and other departments as necessary.
• Aid attorneys in literature and patent searching.
• Assist in reviewing file histories of patents.
• Analyze literature and patent databases to assess patentability.
• Support patent application prosecution under attorney supervision.
• Prepare patent applications with close attorney guidance.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of patent experience.
• Post-doctoral or related experience preferred.
• Advanced scientific degree (., .) or Bachelor's in a technical discipline.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Sound scientific and technical knowledge.
