A law firm in Chicago is actively seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of experience in civil rights law. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and maintain an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.

Duties:

• Provide legal representation and counsel in civil rights cases, advocating for clients' rights.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build compelling cases.
• Draft various legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and motions.
• Collaborate with clients, community organizations, and internal teams to address civil rights issues.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations to represent clients effectively.
• Investigate and gather evidence to support claims of civil rights violations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and precedents in the field of civil rights.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in civil rights law.
• Deep understanding of civil rights laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Strong advocacy skills and commitment to social justice.
