This role will contribute to the development of patent portfolios for technologies focused on lithium separation methods and materials, solid-state and lithium metal batteries, and energy storage solutions. Responsibilities: As a Patent Agent/Attorney at EnergyX, you will work with a team of experienced scientists to translate research discoveries into successful patent applications. Your responsibilities will include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, managing domestic and international portfolios, and corresponding with foreign associates. You will also be responsible for formulating search strategies, analyzing patents for due diligence or freedom to operate analyses, and evaluating patentable subject matter. Additionally, you will provide general IP support to the company. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, or Minerals), Chemistry, or Materials Science - Minimum 5 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution practice in a law firm or corporate in-house IP department - Registered patent agent with the .
