The National Tax Services Exempt Organizations Senior Associate position at PwC is a full-time role with up to 20% travel required. As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team to help our clients navigate complex tax issues and trends. This includes implementing successful tax strategies in response to legislative, federal, and judicial tax developments that may impact their business. Our team serves a diverse range of tax-exempt organizations, including colleges and universities, health care entities, foundations, supporting organizations, and other cultural and religious organizations. You will also assist charities in achieving measurable results, such as obtaining and preserving tax-exempt status, identifying planning opportunities, and ensuring compliance with tax requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience. A Juris Doctorate degree is preferred, along with a background in Accounting or Taxation. You must also meet the requirements for CPA or Bar licensure in your state. Additionally, certifications such as CPA, Enrolled Agent, or member of the Bar are preferred.

- Programming in SAS or a similar statistical software package to conduct economic, statistical, and modeling services.
- Conducting statistical analyses and providing consulting services across multiple industries.
- Demonstrating technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
- Conducting research on business and industry trends to develop a point of view for proposals and opportunities.
- Utilizing automation and digitization in a professional services environment, experimenting with new technologies, and working with large, complex data sets.
- Understanding pricing, client value, and the negotiation process.
