They are seeking a State and Local Policy Attorney or Senior Attorney to join their team and provide legal and policy guidance for their state-level legislative, regulatory, and advocacy work. This is a full-time position that can be done remotely in the . with up to 20% travel required. GIFFORDS is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The ideal candidate will have a . degree and experience in legal practice, admission to at least one state bar, exceptional attention to detail and writing skills, and a commitment to GIFFORDS' mission. Previous experience with legislation, legislators, or policy proposals is preferred, as well as involvement in the gun violence prevention movement and fluency in Spanish and English. The salary for this position ranges from $97,000 to $107,000 for a Staff Attorney and $113,000 to $123,000 for a Senior Staff Attorney.
