A law firm based in Knoxville, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic performance, superior writing and analytical capabilities, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. The successful candidate will be actively involved in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  • Participate in all stages of discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, and clients to develop case strategies.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Assist with case management and trial preparation.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in federal and state laws and legal trends relevant to litigation practice.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Federal clerkship background strongly preferred.
  • Distinguished academic performance.
  • Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
  • Valid law license in good standing.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Valid law license in the state of Georgia.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Strong writing and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
