Job Title: Tax Manager - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax (Central Region Office Locations)
Experience: 5+ years
Salary Range: $84,980 - $169,650 (dependent on factors such as skills, experience, and location differential)

Position Summary:

- Seeking a Tax Manager to join the largest growth area in the tax industry
- Opportunity to work with investment management clients and provide tax compliance and advisory services
- Lead and mentor teams, advise on tax and business issues, and manage client relationships

Responsibilities:

- Review tax research, work papers, allocations, and filings
- Conduct client meetings on compliance and advisory projects
- Train, mentor, and supervise Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Take on lead client-contact roles
- Analyze billing and profitability on engagements
- Participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits

The Team:

- Global leader in providing professional services to the Investment Management industry
- Comprised of over 1,400 partners, principals, and employees
- Provides tax services to a broad range of Investment Management companies

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served
- 5+ years of tax planning experience or preparing and reviewing work papers and tax returns
- 3+ years of experience in investment management or partnership taxation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Licensed CPA or other relevant accreditation (Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, CFP)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Experience managing projects and client correspondence
- Knowledge of fund and general ledger accounting
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong communication skills
