A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Brentwood, TN, location.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting, writing, researching, and effectively communicating with clients and moving cases through the litigation process by court and client-mandated deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workers' Compensation, Insurance Defense, or Domestic Law, with 3-5 years of litigation experience.

Duties:

• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues.
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
• Managing caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Providing legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in Workers' Compensation, Insurance Defense, or Domestic Law.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
