## Insurance Tax Manager

**Job Description**

As an Insurance Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to help our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You will provide advice to our clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.

You will also help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. You will help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Work with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
- Utilize digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies.

**Job Requirements and Preferences**

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
- CPA or Member of the Bar.
- Master Degree Preferred.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries.
- Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments.
- Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.
- Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs.
- Considerable experience as a team leader.
- Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor.
- Preferred familiarity with a CRM system.
