Job Description:

- AECOM's Design and Consulting Services-Americas legal department is seeking a highly talented attorney to support their operations in the Western .
- This will be a hybrid position with a mix of remote and in-office work, with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
- The role will be based in larger AECOM offices in the West Region, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Denver.
- The attorney will have an established career in construction law and experience with contracts for engineering, construction, and other technical services.
- Responsibilities include providing guidance on risk management and company policies, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and advising management on legal matters.
- The attorney will also handle litigation, manage external counsel and budgets, and support corporate secretary functions.
- This position will involve occasional travel, approximately 10%.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- . degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with any . state bar.
- Experience in engineering and construction law, preferably with a major engineering company, contractor, consultant, or law firm.
- Capable of presenting to senior management and working independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills for professional services and construction-related agreements.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
