Private Client Advisor II - New Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

Department: Private Banking
Location: Sarasota, Florida

Job Summary:
The Private Client Advisor II at Bank of America is responsible for driving new client acquisition and deepening client relationships. This role requires a high level of business development skills to identify and pursue new opportunities while also fostering strong relationships with existing clients. The Private Client Advisor will lead the client management process (CMP) and work closely with internal and external partners to provide a branded client experience (BCE) and access to the full range of Private Bank and Bank of America capabilities and services.

Responsibilities:
• Drive new business development for target client segment with investable assets of $3MM+
• Use a holistic approach to present the entire Private Bank platform to clients
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' needs, preferences, and wealth strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing integrated recommendations for wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, and asset management
• Encourage the use of digital capabilities to enhance the client and client team experience
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and centers of influence
• Lead the client team to deliver meaningful interactions and a branded client experience

Requirements:
• Minimum of 12 years experience in private banking or complex financial services OR equivalent of a bachelor's degree
• Proven track record of driving new business development
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Ability to identify and act upon opportunities for client engagement
• Strong influencing skills and ability to close business
• Solutions-oriented with strong sales and financial aptitude
• Skilled negotiator
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and identify the need for team specialists
• Series 7, 63, and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) required (unlicensed candidates may be considered if willing to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date)

Desired Qualifications:
• MBA or post-graduate degree preferred
• CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM, or JD a plus
