Corporate Counsel - Responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the US market for Gordon Ramsay North America, including compliance, contract management, litigation, intellectual property protection, and employment and labor matters. Competitive Salary - This senior leadership role offers a competitive salary package, reflective of the candidate's experience and qualifications. Full Time Schedule - This is a full-time position, with the expectation of a minimum of 40 hours per week. Minimum 5 Years of Experience - The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar multi-unit capacity, with a and relevant work experience. Regulatory Compliance Expertise - The Corporate Counsel will have a comprehensive understanding of US laws, regulations, and industry-specific legal standards applicable to the restaurant industry. Contract Management Skills - The candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including franchise agreements, management contracts, supplier contracts, lease agreements, and more. Litigation Management Experience - The Corporate Counsel will have experience in managing legal disputes, claims, or litigation involving operations and third-party partners, and will work closely with external counsel to devise litigation strategies and negotiate settlements. Intellectual Property Protection - Safeguarding the organization's intellectual property rights and branding is a key responsibility of the Corporate Counsel, including addressing potential infringements and overseeing enforcement when necessary. Employment and Labor Law Knowledge - The candidate will provide legal support on employment law matters, including contracts, workplace policies, and compliance with employment regulations, as well as advise on employee relations and other HR-related legal issues.
