Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex business litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client representation.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar; admission to additional state bars is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation tactics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior clerkship experience preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Ohio State Bar; admission to additional State Bars is a plus.
