A law firm is seeking a Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney for its Evansville location. The Corporate Services Senior Associate Attorney should have extensive experience in securities reporting and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) in a large regional or national law firm. They will handle routine securities filings, M&A transactions, and other business transactions. Preferred candidates will also have experience with bank regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to offer unique perspectives on complex issues. They must have excellent academic credentials and be licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana.

 

Duties:

  • Handle securities reporting and compliance matters.
  • Manage mergers & acquisitions transactions.
  • Assist with routine securities filings.
  • Handle other business transactions as needed.
  • Provide advice on bank regulatory matters.
  • Communicate advice clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Offer unique perspectives on complex legal issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents and agreements.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of corporate experience.
  • Extensive experience in securities reporting, M&A, and bank regulatory work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Licensed to practice law in Indiana.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in Indiana.

 

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in securities reporting and M&A.
  • Familiarity with bank regulatory matters.
