## Senior Corporate Counsel - Remote East Coast

Corza Medical is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join their team and provide legal advice, counsel and representation to the organization. This full-time employee will report to the Vice President, Legal, and work remotely from the East Coast.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide accurate, pragmatic and timely advice to business leaders on a variety of legal topics that relate to the company business and product.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
- Manage internal contract review and retention process and systems.
- Provide input on internal governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.
- Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.

**Qualifications**
- . degree. MA in Business Administration or related field will be considered an asset.
- 5-7+ years legal practice in corporate commercial law with proven general counseling experience in a business environment.
- Prior experience as in-house counsel strongly preferred.
- Overall broad legal knowledge (corporate law, litigations, contracts, etc.) Working knowledge in commercial compliance, privacy, licensing, and regulatory matters a plus.
- In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organizations.
- Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives with a business and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Well-versed in how businesses operate, baseline financial acumen.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks and to “see around the corner”.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
- Excellent writing skills. Must be able to summarize complex issues in a clear, succinct, and accurate manner.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, engage resources and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced team leaders, with demonstrated experience in talent development.
- Expertise in Microsoft suite and Contract Management Systems.
- Limited travel.
