Head of Legal Marketing - Small Business & Enterprise

Overview:
PayPal is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Sr. Legal Counsel to join our global marketing legal team. This individual will lead the legal functions for our small business and enterprise teams, providing expert advice and guidance on a daily basis. This is a full-time position, with the ability to work virtually from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on legal implications of new SMB and Enterprise products, services, and experiences
- Provide expert guidance on marketing initiatives for Sales, Small Business, Enterprise, and Public Relations/Communications teams
- Collaborate with compliance groups, product teams, and other legal teams to provide comprehensive advice
- Review and substantiate marketing claims
- Draft and negotiate marketing-related portions of partner and vendor agreements
- Develop trainings and update marketing legal guidelines to stay current with evolving laws and regulations

Requirements:
- Mid to senior level attorney with experience in fast-paced global teams
- Extensive knowledge of FTC and CFPB rules and regulations
- Experience with various types of media, including social, digital, print, and television
- Familiarity with global privacy laws is a plus
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to provide expert legal advice on a variety of matters

Salary Information:
- Actual compensation based on factors such as work location and relevant skills and experience
- Total compensation may include annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits
