Trust and Estate Planning Attorney Responsibilities: Competent in drafting and implementing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts and related documents. Advise on trust and estate administration, including competency in tax compliance obligations for individuals, estates, and trusts. Utilizes tax law knowledge to help clients devise ways to reduce taxes or fees that may be imposed on an estate. Responsible to maintain wealth management relationships by integrating fiduciary knowledge, financial planning, business development, and investment knowledge. Help identify opportunities with existing clients and new prospects.
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, the desire to assist clients with professional communication and solid work product. Knowledge of probate proceedings for trust and estate administration, guardianships, conservatorships, and related matters. Including initiating and managing probate or administrative proceedings, appointments or resignations of fiduciaries, disclaimers, inventory, and claims against estates. Strong legal research and writing skills are a must. Desire to participate in client interaction, ongoing client relationship management.
