A law firm in Dallas is seeking a Senior Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial Texas State Court and federal court experience, including first or second chair jury trial work, appellate court experience, administrative agency proceedings experience, non-compete case handling, and discrimination case handling experience under federal and Texas laws.

 

Job Duties:

  • Handle litigation matters from start to finish, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in mediations and trials.
  • Conduct first or second chair jury trial work and appellate court proceedings.
  • Handle administrative agency proceedings and non-compete and discrimination cases under federal and Texas laws.
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations.
  • Work directly with clients to provide legal advice and support.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a relentless commitment to personal growth and client service.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team members.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Texas Bar is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Employment Litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
