Your Role as a Corporate Counsel - Part of the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) group within Baxter's Legal Department. - Reports to the Head of Global Investigations. - Lead and help conduct investigations globally. - Manage the E&C internal investigations program. What You'll Be Doing - Conduct complex internal investigations related to employee misconduct in violation of Baxter's policies and procedures. - Assist in the triage of all allegations and reports raised to E&C. - Collaborate with and provide guidance to E&C investigation team members and Baxter colleagues in other functions. - Assist with E&C due diligence stemming from the Company's M&A activity. - Perform special E&C-related projects on an ad hoc basis. - Contribute to the refinement, development, and documentation of compliance- and investigations-related processes. What You'll Bring - Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school. - Minimum of 5 years of practice, preferably with a mix of law firm experience with government or in-house experience. - Experience conducting internal investigations of potential violations of legal/regulatory requirements and of corporate policies/expectations. - Knowledge of and experience with anti-corruption and bribery matters. - Knowledge of and experience with pharmaceutical and medical device regulation preferred. - Ability to prioritize workload, pay attention to detail, and make sound judgments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Fluency in English is required; Spanish capabilities are preferred. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for assignments as needed.
