Hopper, a leading mobile-first travel marketplace, is looking for an experienced attorney to join its growing global legal team as Associate Counsel for its Consumer and Travel Agency businesses. As Associate Counsel, you will report to the Deputy General Counsel for Consumer and Travel Agency and work closely with the legal team, product leads, and senior business partners to provide advice on complex product and regulatory matters impacting Hopper's global business. You will also be responsible for driving and executing commercial contracts with Hopper's partners and suppliers.

Your day-to-day will involve navigating the intersection of travel, technology, and financial services, and advising product teams on a range of issues related to developing innovative product structures. You will also help build scalable and effective processes for legal review and launch of new products, as well as draft and maintain product terms and conditions.

In addition, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on travel partner and supplier contracts, as well as general commercial contracts that contribute to Hopper's success. You will also advise on all legal matters affecting Hopper's business globally, including consumer protection, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and corporate governance.

An ideal candidate for this role will have a , with at least three years of experience in an in-house position, government, or law firm practice. They should also have exceptional communication skills and experience in reviewing and solving complex regulatory and cross-border tax issues.
