Job Overview:

The Mid-level Corporate and Business Transactions - Life Sciences Associate Attorney will focus on life sciences transactions, playing a crucial role in drafting and negotiating various agreements essential to the operations of life sciences companies. This role requires 3-5 years of law firm experience with life science transactions or relevant in-house counsel experience in the life sciences industry.

 

Duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating collaboration agreements, license agreements, supply agreements, and other operational agreements relevant to life sciences companies.
  • Advising clients on transactional matters, including due diligence, risk assessment, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Managing client relationships and communication regarding transactional matters and legal strategies.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support transactional initiatives and address client concerns.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and stakeholders within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience with life science transactions.
  • Alternatively, candidates with 2+ years of experience as in-house counsel for a life sciences industry company and a strong desire to focus on life sciences transactions would also be considered.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating collaboration agreements, license agreements, supply agreements, and other operational agreements.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences industry regulations and compliance requirements.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the applicable jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
