New York City office of our client seeks corporate associate counsel with experience. The candidate will support the Sales, Finance, People, and Strategic Partnership teams on matters including drafting and negotiating contracts with customers and partners. Will also assist the head of legal with compliance matters, product planning, finance and accounting, and employment-related issues as they arise. Build trusted advisor relationships with internal teams and all key stakeholders in order to achieve desired business outcomes. Act as a legal advisor in the state of NY and have drafted, reviewed/ negotiated a wide variety of contract agreements. Advise all of the firm's business units regarding corporate, commercial, marketing, transactional, contract, HR, governance, and real estate matters. Be an internal advocate for customer needs, requirements, and feature requests across customer success, product, and sales. Create and implement procedures for contract management, organization, and documentation. Have direct and immediate insight into in-house operations and will have agency in developing long-term plans with the head of legal. An understanding of commercial real estate is a plus.
