The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, as well as experience drafting discovery and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft discovery requests and responses, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in Federal and State courts.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Manage case files and deadlines.
  • Assist with case strategy and settlement negotiations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • 3-4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience drafting discovery and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts.
  • Prior large case and/or firm experience preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
