Duties:

  • Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.
  • Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Provide legal counsel on complex financial matters related to debt financing in the private equity sector.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address legal issues and facilitate transactions efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in private equity debt finance or related fields.
  • Extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks in financial transactions.
  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Admission to the relevant Bar association or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Relevant Bar admission is required (or eligibility is required to obtain admission promptly).
