A law firm in New Haven is actively seeking a seasoned Commercial / Creditors’ Rights Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will assume substantial responsibilities in complex cases, with a preference for candidates possessing bankruptcy experience.

Duties:

• Representing clients in commercial and creditors’ rights litigation matters.
• Managing and handling complex legal issues independently.
• Conducting legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients.
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and development.
• Handling significant responsibilities in complex commercial and creditors’ rights litigation cases.
• Preference for candidates with bankruptcy experience.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in commercial and creditors’ rights litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial and creditors’ rights litigation.
• Preference for candidates with bankruptcy experience.
