Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support in matters related to asset management and investment funds.
  • Assist in advising investment companies, investment advisers, and board members on . federal securities law compliance.
  • Handle matters arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage complex legal matters independently and as part of a team.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Massachusetts or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
