Job Overview:

The Global Transportation Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support in complex finance transactions related to transportation industries worldwide. The position requires strong transactional experience, excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

 

Duties:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of transportation finance matters, including securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, and aviation.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to transportation finance transactions.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support client initiatives and transactional matters.
  • Managing client relationships and communication throughout the duration of transactions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of transactions.
  • Providing strategic guidance and counsel to clients on legal and regulatory issues impacting transportation finance.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: securitization, leveraged finance, secured lending, capital markets, private equity, project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, aviation.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree or its equivalent.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Admitted in (and in good standing with), or taking steps to become admitted in, the applicable jurisdiction.

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (.) degree or its equivalent.
