Job Summary:

The Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America is responsible for maintaining a book of fiduciary and investment management accounts. The primary responsibility of this role is the administrative and business development of complex IM&T accounts. The Senior Trust Officer works closely with the Market Trust Executive to ensure trust product awareness and education for clients, associates, and COIs (Centers of Influence). This position also involves working with high net worth clients and beneficiaries, handling regulatory and compliance procedures, and participating in new business development activities.

Job Description:

The Senior Trust Officer is a seasoned Trust Officer with a complex book of business and is expected to deepen relationships through estate and financial planning. In this role, the Senior Trust Officer works closely with local Private Bank teams to achieve strategic objectives and is accountable for trust product sales. This position also involves managing fiduciary risks and adhering to trust policies. The Senior Trust Officer is well-respected both internally and externally and has proven abilities to effectively partner with others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with PCAs to drive business development and close new Trust business
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships within the current client base
- Meet with key clients periodically to maintain relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Engage with other specialists within Bank of America’s Private Bank to meet client needs
- Proactively resolve client issues and engage in high-level trust administration
- Oversee risk management activities and identify at-risk clients
- Communicate and connect with high net worth clients to understand their concerns and provide solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of trust administration and estate planning experience, preferred
- Fiduciary professional with CTFA, CFP, AEP, JD, or CPA (or 6 months away from obtaining certification), preferred
