  • Conducted legal research and provided analysis on complex construction law issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and other correspondence.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients regarding construction projects and related disputes.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates in case management and strategy development.
  • Assist in the supervision and mentoring of junior associates and legal staff.
  • Attend client meetings and participate in negotiations as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to construction law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on construction law and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, operation, and maintenance contracts.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing legal teams and supervising junior associates.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and contract analysis skills.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex legal issues and communicate them effectively.
  • Familiarity with the energy industry and related legal frameworks is preferred but not required.

Education:
