A law firm in Danbury, CT, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with strong research and writing skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation. Family Law experience is a plus. The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing support to the firm's litigation team. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team-driven environment.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist with trial preparation and court appearances.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff members on case strategy and execution.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Connecticut.
• 5-15 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in Family Law is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.
