The Alternative Investment Funds practice at Andersen Tax LLC is seeking an experienced Tax Associate to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an individual with at least 1 year of relevant tax experience to work with a variety of complex clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital. The Tax Associate will have the opportunity to engage in tax preparation, planning, research, and consultation for clients, as well as supervise and mentor interns. This role also offers formal tax training, on-the-job training, and direct feedback from top tax leaders, as well as the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources. Role Responsibilities: - Engage in tax preparation, planning, research, and consultation for a variety of complex clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital - Supervise and mentor interns - Receive formal tax training related to Alternative Investment Funds, as well as on-the-job training and direct feedback from top tax leaders - Pursue additional training opportunities through internal and external resources Requirements: - 1+ year of relevant tax experience - Bachelor's and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred) - Minimum GPA of - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities - Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment - Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through written and verbal communication - Proficient use of technology The company, Andersen Tax LLC, is committed to workforce diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
