# Senior Legal Counsel

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support to its fulfillment business unit. This position will focus on commercial customer and procurement contracting, but may also take on additional tasks such as regulatory work, litigation management and strategic projects.

## Responsibilities

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for:

* Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing customer logistics contracts and vendor procurement contracts.
* Supporting real estate lease negotiation and management.
* Supporting risk management and safety team initiatives.
* Participating in strategic transactions and helping drive growth strategy.
* Conducting legal research and providing legal advice on key issues affecting the company.
* Becoming familiar with laws and regulations affecting the company including DOT, air quality, labor and employment, privacy, OSHA, etc. and assisting the company with compliance in these areas.
* Consulting with various business leaders regarding transportation and warehousing compliance, contracts and commercial matters, litigation, and corporate governance.

## Pay Range

The pay range for the Senior Legal Counsel position is $170,000-$200,000. This range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
