Corporate Counsel, AWS Privacy Legal:

- Represent multinational companies on data privacy and cyber security issues
- Solve complex privacy issues and develop governance frameworks and processes
- Work with lawyers and business leaders throughout the AWS organization
- Prepare for and comply with new or evolving privacy laws and regulations
- Help build innovative new products and services
- Develop long-term strategy for privacy

Basic Qualifications:

- . degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one State Bar
- 5+ years of legal experience, with at least two years at a law firm and two years focused on privacy, data protection, or related regulatory matters
- Experience with global privacy laws, including European and . law

Preferred Qualifications:

- Understanding of internet services and applications and related technologies
- Experience advising on privacy legal issues related to cloud computing services
- Ability to set, drive strategy, and provide guidance to the team
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive base pay ranging from $123,100/year to $229,000/year based on market location and job-related factors
