The ideal candidate will have a 5 years of litigation experience and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation group. They must demonstrate attention to detail, independent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop case strategies. This role involves representing insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation, drafting and editing motions, and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
 
Duties:
• Independently produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
• Represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation.
• Draft and edit motions across all stages of litigation, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, trial motions, and related materials used in mediation.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously, including organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, both in writing and orally.
 
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NY Bar.
• 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or related fields.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
 
Certifications:
Admission to the NY Bar.
 
Skills:
• Litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice.
