  • Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to identify and evaluate patentable inventions.
  • Draft, prepare, and prosecute high-quality patent applications in compliance with USPTO regulations.
  • Respond to office actions and communicate effectively with patent examiners to advocate for successful patent outcomes.
  • Conduct prior art searches and provide opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate issues.
  • Assist in the development and execution of intellectual property strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
  • A degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering is required.
  • Admission to the USPTO is mandatory.
  • Solid academic achievement and a strong track record in a law firm or relevant industry setting.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
