Job Overview:

The Real Estate Attorney will handle a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, land development, and financing, focusing on the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence and title examinations.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on real estate development and land use regulations.
  • Handle real estate disputes and litigation, if necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions.
  • Experience in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Preferred experience in representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.
  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
